Well its update time again Ladies and Gents. For the past year my Z has been down due to the motor locking up. The story goes like this, I was commuting back and forth from where i live in Brunswick Ga, to Jacksonville Fl for work. The assignment was for 6 days and the first 5 1/2 went with out a glitch, as far as the Z goes. Needless to say on the evening of having to go back down there to pick up equipment the Z started to loose power on me and eventually shut off, stranding me on the side of I-95 in the middle of 2 exits. Well now to 6 months past that date, i finally build up enough money to order and engine which i did from Nissan Auto Dismantling out of Rancho Cordova, Ca. I didnt have enough money to put parts into it to make it reliable so it sat for about 6 months under a tarp which was the exact time of the warranty that was given. So just the other day (about a few weeks ago) my cousin and i finally got down to breaking the new'er engine apart, and what we found infuriated me! The VGde30 has 24 valves thats 12 valves per head, both outside rows of vavles wouldnt move an inch up or down and are cocked sideways on the valve seat.
