Well it finally happened...
"Okay so, seats installed, sound and lights re-installed, ready to move onto the body work once again and do some... what? you said the transmis... what? Oh that's some bullsh*t! Are you sure? No. Well what else could it be? the axels okay let's try to fix them."
So I replaced the axels. the left axel: When I pulled the tire off and looked at the axel I noticed that it had been pushed out of the transmission a bit. "Yes!" I thought "I'll just tuck it back in there, make sure the retainer clip catches and be on my way."
NOPE!!!
Okay, right side (Let me pause here) So it took me an entire month to get the old right side axel off because it's a female connection to an intermediate axel whereas the left side is a male that goes right into the tranny. So banging with my hammer and off it goes after a month of banging. (Don't Laugh I only have about 18" of work room so it's an awkward hammer swing).
So, old right side axel off new one on... OHHHHH SH*T!!! I'm 'bout ta be back on the riz-oad!!! But, instead I'm the smart guy who left the battery connected for the month Jett was on blocks! LOL I went and got another battery hooked it up and THE SAME OLD PROBLEM.
"It IS the transmossion. Well, now... and that's where I am. I was planning on painting and instead the tranny goes out. f---! Stay tuned!
