I've been told it's an IHC Scout...60's vintage...can anyone be more specific? Please educate me on these vehicles 'cause I don't really know anything about them.

It's sitting in some bushes beside an abandoned house. You can only see it from late fall to early spring when there's no leaves on the trees cause it's usually pretty thick.

I drive by this truck regularily and it's been sitting there for as long as I can remember...8 years that I know of. I've always wanted to know what it is. I hope someone can tell me more about it.

Looks like today was my day to have fat fingers...sorry for that. The truck is hands down a '63. Good Luck with her.

Your rig is not a 61 or 62 because you don't have sliding windows. The top mount wipers allowing the windshield to fold down keeps it younger than a mid-year 65. That said the radio is odd..there is none. That option makes me say 64 and the shifter knob is after market as it looks to offer 4 gears and reverse. They only came in a 152 with a 3 gear option. My guess...1964 800A

You gunna get that truck? It looks to need alot of TLC, but in the end it would be worth it.

the model is 80/800 or 800 the 80/800 were the earlyer yeared ones i belive. i might be wrong on that. Im on the idaho oregon boder myself. There are quite a few scouts around these parts is seem. I just found a free 800 not to far from me i might pick up and another 800 half cab that im going to buy so i will have 2 of them the one i have now im going to fix it up to sell. Its too nice to modify and thats what im wanting to do. So im going to buy the second one put a vortec 4.3 v6 4 speed auto tranny and dana 44 axle under it with 33s and a little lift.
