Miscellaneous Upgrades:
Viper Seats-
Well first I saw John W.'s Dodge Durango 6.7L R/T viper seats and said man I have got to do that!
I got them installed (not quite a direct bolt in) but still have to figure out a mount for my 8-way power seat controls like John's. I am going to add the heated seats as well but will wait until I reupholster them. You have to be careful getting in now though as the sides of the seat will "goose you"! Once in these seats are Very comfortable and give the truck the sporty appearance/feel it deserves.
Second Row - Here are some pictures of my first test fitting. I have to raise them 4" front and back to match the height of the original seats. Well the middle row wasn't that difficult. All that was needed was to build a square frame out of c-channel to match the factory seat bolts. Then we added tabs to match the bolts in the floor. Now I am looking into the same 8-way power seat frames that are on the front row for the middle!
Viper fan conversion
Here is the viper fan installed. A little difficult since I was too lazy to pull my intercooler for removing the original fan shroud. Below is a picture of the relays and the location of my new over-flow bottle. Still trying to decide where I want to put the new washer bottle. So far I have only spent about three hours installing it. The fan cycles with the A/C compressor and whenever the engine needs to be cooled. So far I am very happy with the electric fan.
One piece headlights-
I have seen these on several Dakota's and Durango's and they really update the front end's look. The two piece design of the OE lights made the front look "dated". These give off a cool glow when you cruise around with just the parking lights on. Not difficult to install, just remember to buy amber turn signal and marker bulbs (the OE are clear).
