This car was a "hand-me-down" that my mom drove. My folks bought it brand new abck in 1994. The transmission went out in it and in my car, a 1987 Olds 98 Regency Brougham. Got the trans rebuilt in the 94 Olds and I bought it. We replaced the trans in the 87 Olds with a used one from a 87 Buick then I sold it to a friend. I guess its just one of those things that happen when your car has 264,000 miles on it. Its alot, but the car still runs great.
I removed the stock muffler and replaced it with custom dual exhaust. The chrome tips are running out the side about 6 inches behind the back tires. It souds a lot better now.
The windows are tinted with 35% which is plenty for me.
I removed the head uint and replaced it with a JVC from my old car. There was nothing wrong with the stock radio except that it was no CD player.
Of course there is some minor wear-and-tear on it. The front leather seats are worn and the driverside door panel has cracks in it. Also the power antenna cable has broke, for the second time.
