Welcome to the 7/2004 1981 Oldsmobile 350 Deisel Demolition derby car!
*General Info*
This car was given to me from a friends neighbor. It had been sitting as long as i am aware
of. Its problem was that one of the water sensors had been broken off in the block. The
whole back seat was full of magazines, newspapers, etc... We drug it home and started
working on it right away. The hood we couldnt even get open we had to whack the
hindges. The doghouse was soooo full of leaves and compost, mice...you know the basics.
The original color was white w/ the bottom portion WOODY! We get the sensor out of
the block, fill it w/ deisel, and it fired right up! Come to find out, us draging it down to our
house (about 5 miles) wasnt good on the tranny (yes it was in Neutral!) One of my dads
freinds is a tranny mechanic, he gave us a good deal on a rebuilt one. This car took about
a month to get completely ready. I kept w/ the tradition of my other derby vehicle’s paint
scheme. Please visit my other site for details on how to get one ready and the work
involved.
