This is a 1956 Ford F-100. It is a three speed column shifted inline 6. My unlce gave it to my dad (Denny) about 8 years ago. It was a pale blue and the bed was rotting out. We took it apart and painted it a darker shade of blue with Duplicolor rattle cans. It was like that for 7 years. I am currenlty in a collision rapair class and I decided to paint the truck as a gift for my dad. The paint on it was starting to get really bad. I have been working on it for the past couple of months. It is finally starting to be put back together. I painted it two tone, with two different shades of teal, picked out by my father. The light Color is ThunderBird Blue Metallic(2002 Ford Color) and the darker color is Blue Mist Metallic(1997 Ford Color). This is an almost daily driven work horse. It has American Racing Reverse Smoothie 15X8's wrapped in 31X10.5 Firestone Wilderness A/T's. We also had a custom glasspack side exit exhaust made for it.
I painted it with Base/Clear paint from PPG.
The truck is back together for the most part, and I have a good bit of sanding and buffing done. Here is a pic of it parked outside of our SuperBowl party. Can you tell who I wanted to win?

Here are some pictures of the truck while I was taking it apart.

And some pics freshly painted.

Finally, I had some more progress. I just finished applying a "Color your Hippo" tintable HippoLiner, (bedliner) on the bed, the running boards and the bumpers. We tinted it to match the darker color on the fenders. It actually matched really well. Here are some pictures of the truck out in the sun. The front fenders are dull because I wetsanded them and haven't buffed them yet, same for the passenger side of the hood.
