Here are some pictures of my hotrod magnum. I wanted to old school look of the 60s Dodge muscle. This is why I painted, yes paint and not primer, the hood matte black. Oh yeah, that's a srt viper style functional ram-air hood. Hurst Equipped shifter and interior, SRT cluster, and many one-off custom mods.

65standard's 2006 Dodge MagnumNew custom one-off chin spoiler.

65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumhere are the lastest pictures of the completed car. here is a shot of the left rear corner. you can see the shaved tail gate and the custom rear air diffuser. also, there is my one-off custom fabricated rear spoiler.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumthe right front corner. here you see my custom formed aluminum mesh grille, SRT headlight with a tint film, a special one-off rksport viper hood that force feed the motor fresh air. the front chin spoiler is a modified daytona charger piece.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumand the left front corner. here you can see the custom AAR 'Cuda stripes, shaved rear door handles and the lowered stance. the rims a Boyd Coddington Smoothies.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumhere are some perfect body lines  after the panel job. the doors and body line are now better than original.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumcustom fenders waiting approval. these one-off fenders have heat extractors built in. i am not really happy with the look so they were never installed, yet...
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumanother view of the fender. i don't really like it and that is why i didn't use them, but they are fully functional
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumhere is the padded leather window inserts. after the panel job, i made some inserts from black leather to fill in that area. it is they way the factory would have done it.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumsee, you can see it is padded and looks factory installed.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumfresh out of the garage after paint.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumcolor sanding after 10 days.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumthe interior panels
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnummore interior work to finish out where the windows were
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumrubbing out the paint. i still need to install the rear bumper cover and taillights. then the custom AAR stripes.
here it is in the garage just prior to the black base coat65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnum
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnum the brilliant black pearl base has been applied
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnum
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnum the clear coat is then applied
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnum painting is complete and the paper is removed. now i have to let it cure a week before color sanding and polishing.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumhere she is ready for paint. one week away. i wanted the final coat of primer to cure one week before painting. the longer you let it cure, the better.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumhere is the panel job in the works. shaved quarter windows, shaved rear door windows and handles. stay tuned for more progress. this is what it looked like right after welding in the steel panels. there is a lot of body work to go.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumstill ironing out the sheet metal. it take a look of time to get the steel panels straight. i had to shrink the high spots and raise the low spots. i didn't want to use filler as a substitute for workmanship and quality.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumprimer/sealer and then the first layer of premium body filler. as you can see, very little filler is needed if you get the steel ironed out first.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnum found a low corner that needed some filler. this was a factory defect. i want the body panels better than they were stock.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnum a quick test with fast dry lacquer primer to see my progress.
65standard's 2006 Dodge MagnumThis is my favorite picture. i am using tinted SRT headlights, SRT Viper hood, Daytona style chin spoiler, and my own fabricated aluminum molded grill. this photo is dated back to december 2005.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumthese are my new carbon fiber valve covers, also removed the EGR system and added a catch can.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumhere is the custom grill i made. i made a very limited number of these for other magnums too.
65standard's 2006 Dodge MagnumI am the first to use a modified charger daytona front chin spoiler. it helps direct air into the radiator to keep this beast cool.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumcustom fabricated rear air diffuser. i didn't like this style so i quickly removed it.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumhere is a close-up of the hurst shifter. this is a custom fabrication. there are only three of these out there. however, Hurst has since seen my custom work and now offeres a cheapo version of this shifter on the 2008 and up LX cars.
65standard's 2006 Dodge MagnumThe Hurst edition interior.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumhere is an old picture of my stage I spoiler. i since removed it and sold it off.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumupgraded to a SuperBee SRT gauge cluster.
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumhere is my new best 0-60mph time with the factory timer. 3.44 seconds
65standard's 2006 Dodge Magnumthis was the worlds quickest naturally aspirated magnum R/T. at the time. 12.52@111.41 i haven't gone back in a year to improve it.

65standard's 2006 Dodge MagnumHere is the duct work in the hood the mates to the SuperRam airbox. this is the only true ram-air system out there, bar none...
