this is my 1964 pontiac tempest, its asfar as i can tell all orignal. i got it for free from a friend, it was his mothers car and he just doesnt have the means to do anything with it so he pasts it on to me to do what ever with so im planning on restoring most of it, and some costom parts. it has never been touched, all numbers and scerials are matching. if any one knows where i can find info on this car? she has 27000 original documented miles I'm planning on makeing a center console out of metal, to follow the original metal dash

Hi Scott, looks like you have plenty of elbow grease ahead of you. If you still have it , I hope it is coming along well. Should be a relatively easy fixer upper. Good old Pontiac, will be a fun car when running and cleaned up. Wish you luck. You can contact Pontiac Historical Services with your V.I.N. and $35.00 and recieve an entire envelope of goodies including the option sheet for your specific car. Go to their site, fill out the form,print,send it in with money order, and you will get all the information you should want for your car.
