The 1971 442 hard top was kinda a rare car. They only produced around 6,300 units total. And about 1,300 convertables. I did a frame up restoration on this car. The frame is boxed and completely braced and powder coated. Full Hotchkiss suspension with 3" lowering springs and 1 1/2" front 1" rear sway bars. Front and rear Bear disks. Quick ratio steering sector. Polyurethane bushings on everything, including body bushings.
18x9.5" Centerline Dagger wheels with 285-35-18 sumitomo's on all 4 corners. 454/450 hp BB chevy with a Tremec TKO600 5 speed. Solid engine mounts and transmission mount with custom crossmember. 3.73 gears with Powertrax locker. Koni 4 way adjustable shocks on all corners. This car handles like a C-6! It's AWESOME!!! The only thing I regret is not installing a cage. That can be next year!:)
Here is a pic of me and my beautiful wife on our wedding day, The day after I finished the car!

I filled all of the marker lights and trunk emblem holes. Also the hood had the stock aluminum louvers which were filled when I installed the scoop.
All of these pictures were the day I tore it back down to paint. 2 weeks before the finish date.I would like to thank everyone that helped me get this project completed in time! My family, friends, coworkers,My nieghbor Joe,Dustin(Monty),My brother,My dad,My mom, My in-laws,And of course my wife. I could'nt have done it without all of your all's help!!
