My old 77 vega that I bought in 1984 for $100 , drove for over 5 years putting more than 60,000 miles on it , then drove it to the junk yard getting $100 for it. One year later I saw my vega driving thru the junkyard with welding tanks and torches in the trunk. Now a "Parts chaser car." The only performance car that I had that never saw the dragstrip.The 84 trans-am was traded in on the camaro. Even my 67 year old dad races. That black blurry car is his 87 Buick Grand National that he bought new in 87, (eventually it will be mine) He runs 12.7's This is a tombstone I made for my dad`s car. My dad and his 55 chevy a long time ago. My 89 RS camaro on yet another quarter mile run. (one of hundreds)The camaro was traded in on the vette. My 97 six-speed corvette about to smoke a ford. This car has well over 100 passes on it. (still own this one)

Hey man Nice Monte... One day I hope to build a monster somewhat like yours. I love the first Gen Monte's and I want one in the worst way... Nice Job and keep up the good work. Check out the cars I got at my house, let me know what you think.
