TH400 transmission that I had built to withstand 1,000 h.p. with a 3,000 stall converter.
Motor, transmission, and gear vendors under/overdrive unit bolted together. As you can see the overdrive unit replaces the tranny`s tail shaft and is rated at 1,200h.p..
The whole assembly was installed together with only removing the crossmember.
In and bolted down.
Carb, headers, and other parts being installed. Engine compartment was cleaned up later.
Here is the new exhaust from Torque Tech.
With flowmaster 40 series mufflers. I had the whole exhaust powder coated before I installed it.
The exhaust is huge, not 3" but 3 1/2" in diameter. You can stick your whole arm in the pipe. I plan on installing a Pro-charger soon so the exhaust will be needed, 1,000+ h.p.
