Welcome!
To TechOctane.coms 69 Ford Galaxie 2005 demolition derby car! This car was bought
for $300 in Springfeild, IL It was bought only for the 390FE it had. Most of the wiring
was chewed off and there was basically no interior. We swaped the 390 for a 360 we had
sitting around. The original color was a faded baby blue *puke* The car wasnt in that bad
of shape, bodywise...just a couple minor dents and 2 major ones. The hood was in A+
condition...untill someone took it for a drive w/o the hood being latched. The spinners are 100% real and working. They are just some lawnmower blades
welded together to some bearings, then fastened to the lugnuts.

Hey, I am emailing all the 69 Galaxie owners a question. I am doing a frame off restoration on mine. The body is off the frame and I need to know a measurement. I am replacing the entire trunk pan out of mine and need to know the measurement between the ground and the bottom of the trunk pan at the front (closest to the engine) right behind the rear differential. The reason I ask, is because I am replacing the trunk pan with one out of a 89 crown victoria, witch is very similar but a couple of inches deeper at that point. I want to know if I can go deeper and still have enough ground clearance. The differential is approximately 7 inches off the ground and the trailing arms under the rear springs are about 6 inches. If you can get me the measurement I'd greatly appreciate it. Please email me @ littledmac@gmail.com or post a comment to my page. Thanks, Damon
