Ok about a month ago I went to the track clicking off 12.90 times all night. unfortunatly the head gasket let go on the last pass. Had to drive 1 hour home get a trailer 1 hour back load the car and drive 1 on hour home again didnt get there till 1:00 A.M. And by noon the next day the motor was out of the car and torn down. Not only was the head gasket blown but the intake lobe on # 8 was gone. And the lifter was 1/4 inch shorter than all the others. there for all the metal went through the block and cylinders. making groves in the bore. (Knowing all this I now wonder how my car was running in the 12's) So we sent the block out to be bored 40 over and opened up for a 400 crank. Just got the motor back and it is holy $hit fast. traction is now more of an issue then ever and just broke my freshly rebuilt and beefed up tranny. once I get the new tranny back I will post some new times. I am planning on getting the car at least into the low 12's possibly high 11's not bad for a streetcar with A/C. First night out on motor street tires through my single exhaust 13.28@109 on a 2.3 60ft.
Second night out on stickys not bottle 13.06@108 with a 2.0 60ft. The most recent run with bottle and stickys 12.48@118 and 12.05@117 also had problems getting off the line because i change the primary jets to make it fatter on the cold night. and try and keep it together. (better off being conservative)in a few weeks i will be getting a new 770cfm street avenger carb from holley and the car will be in the 11's without a doubt. i will post times when i get them.

New Kustom plate to bad its a lie while its running mid 11's new plate coming soon
