***July 7th 2006, I say goodbye to yet another Solara. The car will either be up for sale or handed over to an anxious new owner known as my sister. The lip kit and intake will come off the car soon and be place for sale on Solaraguy.org, what will happen to the nitrous is still up in the air. I may or may not replace the cornerlights with OEM, and the tinted tails with non tinted, if you're interested in either let me know.
The reason for all this being... I BOUGHT A SUPRA! As much as I hate to part with a car I have had and still have nothing but love for, I can't pass up a good deal on a Supra. It will be added to my cardomain garage soon, and I'll be posting pics of it then as well, alone and with the Solara. If anyone is interested in buying the car, get at me with an offer, it's a 99 V6 5spd, black with black leather with 86k miles. I've only seen the black/black leather V6 5spd combo on 2 other Solaras ever, one a 2000 and one a 2002, never another 99, and that's out of all Solaras I've ever seen, looked at, or heard about on cardomain, autotrader, ebay, solaraguy.org and more. Considering I've owned a Solara for roughly the last year and a half and know more about them and pay more attention to them than almost anyone else out there, that's saying something. Tuesday April 18th: TRD lip kit installed. TRD strut bar on the way. Tint coming soon (god willing, this has taken way too long). Installing my A/F Gauge soon. Then it's time for OEM replacement shit like timing belt and what have you, so the car will be on hold for a while. I'll also be installing a new clutch along the lines of an ACT stage 1.
The car finally got to run the 1/4 mile with a best time of 14.94 @ 96.94 MPH. anyone who knows drag racing knows that trap and ET don't match up and can be easily explained by shitty 60's. It's all good, I know I trap where cars that run low 14's are trapping, and I've had people who've ridden in the car tell me it pulls harder than some 13 second cars they've been in. And that's all on just the 50 shot.

Saturday March 25th : Nitrous is installed. I just need to find time and money to order the new fuel pump and pod for my A/F gauge now. After the new pump I'll up the shot from 50 to 95. Also need to find time to install the lip kit and tint the windows. Although I'd like to keep this a stock looking beast for a little while longer.
Thursday March 9th: I need to put in some new spark plugs and a new fuel pump, pick up an A/f ratio gauge and install the nitrous. It's been sitting for a month or so now in my garage, I need to just get it over with. Aside from that I have my TRD lip kit in my garage ready to go as well. The damage from being backed into has been fixed and all is looking well. I rotated my tires yesterday, they were in desparate need of that, and now they're gripping much better. I'll have pics up of the car after the lip kit and nitrous installs are complete. After that I still don't know what direction I'll head in with the car, but we'll see.
UPDATE: Jan 2006 - It's 2006 and things are looking promising for the car. CP-e MAFci intake installed (one of two 5spd Solaras in the world with this system). 18" 5zigen hyper 5Zr's will be on order by the end of the month. The windows are set to be tinted 15% all around by then as well (finally). Shortly after that will be a 75 wet shot, and then a drop and the TRD 7 piece polyurethane lip kit. After than I 'm not sure what order things will go, but I'm looking at:
Cross drilled and slotted rotors with painted calipers
TRD RSB
Eclipse HU
Grounding kit
New plugs and coils
Full exhaust (posibly Megan Headers and y pipe with Greddy Evo, or JPP full system)
New grille
Minus the small scrape from being backed into which is being fixed shortly (under full insurance coverage) everything is going great.

This is my 2nd Solara. As much as I miss my old one, I always wanted it to have black leather with a 5 spd. so it's not all bad.
I got this car on December 2nd 2005, about a week ago.
