After all the scraping, the front end gets a little primer and the hood is put in place.
Once the hood is in place and aligned, it is clear just how much work is needed to get it right. Grind it here and glass it there until it's just right.
Even though the front end needed a lot of work, it was no where near as bad as the back. Thanks to all C3 vettes being bonded by hand at the factory, they are all different. Turns out ours was WAY different in the ass end. The new ACI Flex-Fit fiberglass bumper needed a lot of help to make it work. This thing had to have at least 1/4" of glass added to each side to fill the gaps.
