Page(3) More Exterior Pictures!
And finally, we have.......more pictures of the car. Go figure!
This one is clearly an ass shot of her, and if you look close, you can see that I removed the third break light. Regardless of the rear louvers, that third break light was right in the way of my vision, looking through the rear view mirror. I was constantly trying to adjust my mirror to see around that thing, I decided to just take it out.
OK, IF YOU'VE BEEN READING ALONG WITH WHAT I'VE WRITTEN, THEN CLICK ON THIS PICTURE AND ALSO THE NEXT ONE, AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT ON THE FIRST PAGE, ABOUT CUTTING U SHAPED SLOTS IN THE SHORT SPOILER. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT THE TALLER WING GOES ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE END OF THE DECKLID, AND IF NOT FOR THOSE CUT-OUTS, THE TWO WOULDN'T FIT TOGETHER LIKE THAT. YOU KNOW, I ACTUALLY THINK IT LOOKS GOOD WITH BOTH OF THEM ON THERE LIKE THAT. WHY GIVE UP ONE WHEN YOU CAN HAVE THEM BOTH!
If you're wondering about the passenger door,.....Yes, that is a dent. Did you actually expect there wouldn't be any damage at all for 1600 bucks, just a dirty car? Oh no, that's definitely a crease in the passenger door. No big deal, 4 Corners Auto Wrecking has a ton of 3rd Gen. Camaros. I can probably get a power window door from him for around 75 bucks.
As you can see in this next one, I have the two of them sitting side by side. You'll probably notice that big black spot just behind the ass end of my Fiero, that's from spraying down the engine with Simple Green and hoseing it off earlier that day. I can't say that the Management here at my Condo Association was real happy about me doing that. I got the typical $25.00 fine for that little stunt.(for staining the pavement) Next time I'll have take it to the local self-wash car wash.
If you've seen the 96 Z28 page, you'll notice in this picture right here, that there's a fir tree parked in front of the Fiero. Well, there was no way I was going to park my new car under that tree and have it drip pitch or sap, and pine needles all over a basically new 96 Z28. So after pleading with Management, and promising them no more stains, they finally gave in and took the tree out for me. It also let a lot more sunlight in my place with it gone.
Ok, here you go. Here's a closer shot of it. Now you can really see the stain from the motor cleaning. It was obviously parked a little further back when I did it though. You'll also notice that I hadn't tinted the windows yet, and again, the rims are still grey. (YUCK) You'll have to go check out the other pages that I have. The 96 Z28 page was the first of the three that I have here. If you're not familiar with how to get there, just go to the top of this page, and where it says: str8upchevy next to Member ID, click on the name str8upchevy. That will take you into my garage lobby.
The story behind this one is, when my buddy painted a set of purple and lime green flames on the front of my 69 Chevelle SS396, he had some leftover paint. So the following Christmas he bought a black mailbox and whipped me up this baby to match the car. But as you all know, there's no way I could ever put this thing up outside. Who thinks it would even last a week? Anyone? I'll bet you it wouldn't last 3 days before some punk kid smashed it with a bat, or through an M-80 in it. So I guess I'll just keep it on display inside, as a reminder of how nice the paint job was on the 69.
Check out the 67 in front of it. I've had 3 of those as well. I'll have to list them at the bottom of this page.
If you've been in my 96 Z28 page, then you've probably already seen this picture. If not, well this clearly show's how comitted I am to Chevrolet. After 4 Chevelles, 2 Novas, and 10 Camaros, you could say I'm a "DIEHARD CHEVYMAN"! The reason it say's "Yesterdays Chevrolet" in the Tatoo, is because most of my cars have been 66-73 Muscle cars!
Thanks for checking out my 91 RS! If you sign my guest book and let me know which car is yours, I'll do the same!
Later-
.
And don't forget to check out the other rides, they're actually quite a bit nicer than this one, especially the 96.
It has less than 19,000 original miles on it.
