Page(2) Sound System & Interior!

Ok, now for the inside.

Well, this is actually the second system that's been in here. The first one was stolen. And after having that happen, I wasn't about to spend a bunch of money on another system, just to have it happen again. So, this system consists of two old amps I had from previous cars, and a couple cheap $60.00 Sony Explode 12" Subs from Walmart.

The Amp on the left is a Ultra Linear 750W 2ch running the Subs. The Amp on the right is a Lanzar Vibe 400W 2ch running the 2 Boston Acoustics 6x9's in the rear panels. The two 4x6 plate speakers in the front dash, are Soundstream 125W running off the deck.

While this system wasn't a window breaker, it could still set off the car alarms in the local parking lots. :)

Between the pull back shade and the rear louvers, at least you couldn't just look right in and see the amps. If you're wondering about an alarm system, it has one. I'm pretty sure they used the old magnet or stun gun trick to disable it before helping themselves. Whoever it was that ripped me off was good, I'll give them that much.

As stated before, the car was extremely dirty when I got it. And as you can see from these interior photos, the dash and console were a piece of cake, I just can't say the same for the carpet. I tried carpet cleaner, but to no avail. Oh well, I guess it's either a new one, or some large black floormats.



If you click this one larger, you'll see the BOSS Deck with the reversable faceplate that makes it look there isn't one there. (oooooohhhh) And just to right of it, if you look close enough, you can see the red LED bulb that flashes when the alarm is set. Honestly, the only thing that's good for, is to keep the non professionals from taking your stuff!
