This is a 2005 Dodge Ram with a Audiovox AX510 and door lock actuators.

During the bench prep I remove all unused wires. Then I reattach the leftover domelight supervision wire as a second ground. We do not ground sirens at the siren.

Here is a few picks of how to tap one wire into another circuit. This is the power input for the door lock relays.

First use your strippers and make two cuts in the wires jacket.

Use a razor knife to remove the center section.

Use a pick tool to make an eye in the center of the wire.

Thread wire through the hole and wrap tight.

There is perfect hiding location in the side of the drivers dash. To remove the cover you need a panel tool. There is four metal clips that hold this panel on.

The LED was mounted to the headlight panel.

For parking lights I chose negtive trigger. This requires using a relay to isolate the alarms output from the switch.

After - Notice the added relay blends in with the stock wires.

This is Dodges starter kill. It can be bypassed with a paper
clip.

How can the dealer use crimp terminals?

This is a clean shot after I removed the cancer.

Now this is a after shot.

The door triggers are in each kick panel.

iammurph's 1996 Chevrolet Corsica
Notice the systems ground connection. The kick panel is the best place to ground.

I try to keep the siren out of reach. It's deep in the fender on the drivers side. Notice no exposed wires to cut.

There isn't much to see but here is the actuator. Notice the bend on the actuator rod. This will stop it from slipping.

word murph you are the man.

lol i can tell in the pic of the siren where you hid the wires for it.. thats ok though cuase we all know in one week that loom will be so dirty no one will tell it from the factory wiring.

check out my new car, 95 camaro Z28, when you get a chance. we have got ANOTHER new GM and this one is VERY SOP... it kinda sucks. first he said we cannot work on our own cars then he says we have to do it by SOP so i clocked in and paid employee rate to work on my own car.. i did a pair of speaker install and a few customs to do the front speaker i put in.. then i come to work the next day and he bitches because i made a mounting plate out of MDF wood for my speaker.. what was he bitching about? well i guess according to SOP we are not allowed to do "custom work" and the way i mounted my speakers were custom... does that sound stupid to anyone else?

anyways let me know when you get updates on new cars.. i havent updated my work pics in a long time cause i got lazy.
