The start to changing my 76 Mini 1000 into one hell of a street machine!

My 1380cc motor that will be pushing aprox 120hp! You might be asking why green because everyone I talk to said you cant do it! There is no engine paint that color! So I did as usual what everyone said i cant do!

1976 Mini work in progress Soon to be racing around the streets of Deadmonton Alberta!!!!
I removed the old motor and started removing all wiring and parts for the bodywork to start

I removed the sub-frames as well the interior

As I moved to remove the rear sub-frame I found some bad rust so I will have to replace my rear sub-frame with a new one if I expect to put the power I am planning on putting in this car!

After removing all parts and wiring I started bodywork under the body.

As the body must be done perfect if I plan on achieving one glass like paint job! even worse it will be black! once again! This will mean that I will have one of my really good friends who does bodywork professionally do the floor up bodywork! These will be the last pictures before the car will be sent to the bodyshop!

Here is new pictures of my car at the body shop were my very good friend Mike is creating new life for my old 76 mini! Take a look!

Its been a few months and there has been Major changes to the 76 Green Monster! Take a look let me know what you think!

My Friend Mike!

Here is my car coming home! home sweet home! I will take some pictures soon of my crazy paint job that turns from black to green when light hits it crazy!!!!

above pics are my good friend Steve working on the bondo! The dash was designed and built by myself and bondo and painted by my auto body Friends Steve and Mike cant take credit for the prep and paint!

I just got back my Subframes back from my awesome friend Johnny and they look great check them out!

After a long GRILLING 14 months I finally got my car back from my fabricator Rick. Why that long? maybe you will see why I wanted Rick to do it. He has been doing this longer than I have been around but funny enough never a Austin Mini! Rick installed my BRIDE racing seats and TAKATA harnesses also custom roll cage with swing out doors and last but not lest made my custom fuel cell! Take a look let me know what you think!

This is my only picture with the harnesses due to the fact that they don't show up very good. there a lot darker in real life
I am building my center console check it out

This is a look at the center console fiberglassed

Here are pics of the engine going in! Take a look!

I just got my all wheel disc brakes in from KAD! This is one awesome setup!
