Our little guy was won in an eBay auction for the price of $184, which is well below the allotted budget constraints. Preparations of the car should not exceed $26, but we figured we would add the remaining funds from the "car buying budget" to the preparations budget.

The minor changes are quite simple:

Everything that is not absolutely necessary will be removed to make the car lighter and increase the amount of weight we can take with us.
The rear seat has been removed to maximize storage space
- 5 extra wheels
- 1 spare alternator
- 1 starter engine
- 1 radiator
- 1 box of hoses and fanbelts
- 1 clutch
- 1 oil sump
- 1 insane amount of tools
- 1 box of all the necessary fluids (oil, water, and coolant)
- 2 gas canisters
- 1 fire extinguisher
- 1 box of first aid equipment
- 1 box of necessities (chocolate, energy drinks, & power bars)

You know all the necessary power food that keeps you focused.

All the spares come from a second Panda that has been bought with a bad engine and has been stripped for spares.

Vehicle modifications
- Storage partition
- Sumpguard under the engine
- An excessive amount of 12 volt plugs for communication to
the outside world
- Laptop
- Satellite phone
- Cameras
- GPS
- The Bass-o-matic (just kidding)
- Mirror tint the windows to protect our driver's
and their supplies from the outside elements.
