This is my old 1989 Nissan 240SX SE Fastback. For those of you who know a little about 240's, they were the last affordable independant rear wheel drive compact sports car. I got it back in 1993 and with the help of Stillen, I've added several "bolt on" performance products over the next six years (College student budget).
They were Suspension Techniques front strut tower bar, bigger front and rear sways bars with polyurethane bushings also made by Suspension Techniques, Eibach Prokit springs and Tokico struts which lowered the car 1", K & N Filter charger and Borla stainless catback exhaust and Hart Racing Rims wrapped in Bridgestones.
For audio, I was running an Alpine up front, Boston Acoustic mids and highs, Hot Setup Amps (made by Orion) and a Hollywood 10" in a 5th order bandpass box.
With the performance setup I listed above, I ate a 1991 automatic Ford Mustang GT (driven by an off duty cop) on my way to Kona in Pepeekeo and he couldn't keep up with me in the twisties around the horse shoe turns. Then a sad thing happened. I sold the car.
I was very proud of this car. It wasn't the fastest, but would hold it's ground with the limited amount of money I put into it.

Here's the okolei (rear), with the borla catback exhaust dual tips showing. This exhaust system was great. It gave the car a low quite sound that made the car sound like it had some big balls especially under WOT (wide open throttle), unlike some Honda Civics with after market exhausts that sound like uncapped weedwackers. I would could hit my estimated 120 mph governer with ease.
