Hey sorry to get back to you so late, I'm living in Japan now so i don't check my cardomain often. So to make black blinkers, first you've gotta get the clear ones which you've already done. Then you gotta get a product called "VHT Nightshades." I think i got mine from eBay but here's a link to a great 3000GT shop that'll have it, http://www.3sxperformance.com/detailing.asp so once you've got those, you take everything off the blinker you can untill it's just the clear plastic piece and the grayish plastic peace with the reflector on the back. Then you put it in the oven (i don't remember the temperature though, maybe 200 but probably higher. I think it was 200 or 250) you let it heat up for a coupple minutes and then use a screwdriver or a coupple screwdrivers to pry the clear piece off the other piece. be very gentile while doing this and patient because i broke my blinker the first time i tried this and had to get another set. the 2 parts will be stuck together with a gummy adhesive like really thick puddy glue. i'm sure there's a better name for it but i don't know it. the reason you put it in the oven is to heat up the adhesive to make it soft so that you can seporate the two parts. when you finish that the rest is easy. you just set down the clear part on some newspaper sothat the inside is facing up and spray the nightshades onto the inside. When you do this you want to be far away sothat you get even coats which are very light. you'r gonna want 3 or 4 very light coats probably. You still want the light to shine through so don't get all up in theer and just blast the hell out of it. Do one light coat and when it's dry, before you do the next hold the clear peace upto the other part to see what it looks like. keep doing this after coats untill you think it is black enough. then just put it back together and pop it in your blinker socket. all finished. let me know if you have any more questions. I think the black blinkers on a black car look awesome. a million times better then the orange.

Hey! Thanks for the comments. I got the front emblem from my local Mitsubishi dealer. Just ask for the chrome emblem on the newer (00-05) Eclipses. They are flat, and our hoods are curved, but just kind of press it down hard in the grooves marked for the hood emblem, and the backing is sticky enough, and it will stick fine. I used dental floss to get my old emblem off, but if it's giving you a hard time, just use a thicker piece of string. Good luck. Let me know how it goes!

Hey, thanks for looking at my 3000gt, but I sold it, The gauge cover was painted by me, everything hat was painted or done to that car I did. I used the plastic spray paint, If you have any questions or need some tips let me know, I've done it all to all my cars. Thanks

Hey, The radar i have is an Escort 8500 passport x50B. I bought it like a year ago from my Local Sound advice. AkA Tweeter. I paid around 250 for it becuase i got a discount, its rated one of the best radar detectors avaiable, along with the Valentine 1. I wouldnt buy any other than those two. There both about the same price. Heres where i bought it from:

http://www.tweeter.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1801961&cp=&keywords=escort&searchId=5445318744&parentPage=search

But ive had several radar detectors from Belltronics, to Cobra, now to this Escort and none have even been near this one. It has saved me from countless tickets. Definatly worth it.

I added you as a friend by the way. Let me know if you got any more questions
