Even though I am trying to keep the milage low, this summer she just hit 33K miles. The 289 is now all chrome including the dual 4" rear pipes that rumble. The flame throwers are a real attention grabber, considering she can push out 5 feet of fire! The interior leaves a bit to be desired and a paint job is in her near future. Next project, to get rid of the drum brakes.
This has turned out to be an easy project car, as she is mechanically sound, numbers matching and has been garaged. Only minor rust.
