Well folks, it's been quite a long time. i doubt that anyone cares, but if *any* of you had looked forward to seeing what would happen with my car, i apologize for my lack of maintinance on this site.
Let me tell you a bit about what has happened over the last year. Met a new girl. She was nice, but a little bit dumb, didn't know what she wanted. She left me, only for us to get back together 4 months later. At that point i moved in with her and had the time of my life for 3 months. We had rented a house. A house with a Garage. But alas, the same again. Didn't know what she wanted, and that's just fine. I have a wonderful new woman in my life, the likes of which i've never seen. We're perfect. Alright, enough about me, let's hear about the car!
In that garage a mini-monster was built, to the tune of a hot cam a some ported heads and intakes. There's various other things, like the heat-wrapped intake, the drag radials, the custom-made poly motor mounts, etc. Within those things i managed to break a transmission in early september. It was replaced with a better one. those of you who know the meaning of a W41 quad4 know that it's transmission was amazing. 3.94 FDR and improved 4th and 5th gearing. Add anothger notch to the crazy belt. It all boils down to one thing; 14.532 @ 95.56mph. Not bad at all. but it'll get better in the springtime. I'm settling for the season. I have a handful of things in store for next year. A newer, better intake manifold. A 65mm throttle body(up from the current 56mm). Header-style exhaust manifolds. Mandrel 2.5" exhaust. 13's are within my grasp already, but i'm going to set it in stone with those things. See you again soon.
