I purchased this subaru over the summer of 2005 after the engine went on my 96 Geo Tracker. It was left to rest in my driveway for a good 9 months while I drove this 96 Jetta. Since then they were both traded in as downpayment for my 2009 Legacy 3.0R.

I was looking for a somewhat sporty four dour sedan that wasn't going to blow my budget.

I've always liked the looks of the subaru legacys since 1995 and found a great deal on this one. This one is a 1996 5 speed with the 2.0 boxer engine. 1996 was the first year in America that Subaru made All Wheel Drive standard on their entire fleet of vehicles. It's been that way ever since.

I have installed four Rockford PUNCH speakers, had to cut out grill inserts for the rear speakers because the stock speakers come covered by carpet and the new ones wouldn't fit beneath. Installed a Pioneer deck and I run my Ipod through that with an FM transmitter.

I've installed a STI Shift knob and pedals.

I've got some new rear struts and a K&N air filter from Summit Racing.
