Bought: Feb, 2005
Here she is, my beautiful 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V in molten silver!!! I bought the car used on Valentine's Day 2005 with 19,500 miles, but I have been a huge fan of the car since they were first released. Almost immediately after getting the car I started modding it, and my mods list follows below. I am currently sponsored by Racing Solution .
Since October 2007 I have had a turbo kit installed. Unfortunately the stock clutch could not handle boost whatsoever, and gave up after the first weekend at the track. After an install of aftermarket flywheel and clutch, an unfortunate series of events once again unfolded during my first day of the '08 track season, and the flywheel flew off at 100mph during a run. The transmission made it out fine, but the same could not be said for the crank.
That led into the 07 crank swapped project "HQR " which I ran from April '08 until October '08. I dynoed 297whp with a 6800rpm redline and mild boost with this set up.
I am now fully building the engine, sleeving the block, and going back to running a B15 crank in the engine, and still revving to 7000+ rpm -- Spec Version 4.0 . The build up is now under way, since my block is back from Alderman Machine, where the sleeves were installed. You can read more indepth about my build on Page 7 .
If you like what you see, make sure to nominate me for Showoff of the Week! Thanks in advance for all of your comments and nominations! :)
