I bought this car in april of 2004 with 165000 miles on the clock. It came from the factory with metalic yellow paint, buckskin deluxe interior, and the optional M-40 TH400 automadic transmission. I converted it to a 4 speed about 3 months after I got it. This was the first major automotive tasks I had done other than changing sparkplugs, rotor buttons, points, and a thermostat. It was a great learning experience and I have since then come a long way. The engine in the car is the stock L-48 motor with a net rating of 190 H/P. The 3.08 rear end (which came standard with the M-40) really slows the car down and hopefully will be changing that to a 3.55 rear. To give you an Idea about how slow 190 HP is with the 3.08, I can hang with my buddys 03 mustang GT.

Having 190 horsepower is not something I enjoy bragging about so in the next couple of months I will be putting together a 355 to drop in it. I am not exactly sure what combo im going with but I would like it to have around 9.5:1 compression ratio and have 300 HP at the wheels. Various parts include ported and polished stock 76cc heads (or vortecs, not sure yet), .125 dome pistons, RPM intake, MSD electronic ignition system, comp cams XE 268E cam, speed pro rods and crank.

I havnt decided on the suspension yet. I may go with KYBs all the way around, 440 lb coils up front, poly bushings, adjustible front and rear strut bars, and a fiberglass monoleaf rear spring. It rides on BFG Radial T/A's 245 60R 15's with the stock rallys
