This was a looker! I must have been pulled over 15 times in a year driving this car (Which I never did). I wasn't even driving fast?! I decided to go looks on this car first instead of power (not the norm for me) and man did this car get attention. It was fun but big! Although I did do mostly appearance at first it did see the track a couple times, some of you may have been lucky enough to see it. What is great about a car like this that other cars don't is...
When you see a AE86 or S13-15 drifting, you expect it. It's small and agile. When you see something this big doing the same thing, it puts you in a trance! Go Ueno! If you think it is hard to drift in a small car, try it in a tank!
Well here is my SC300 to Soarer story---->
I am going to have to post the original pics of the vehicle when I got it stock and show you what I did. This is currently the earliest pic I have right now.
I started by looking for months to find a 5 speed manual SC300. I had to go with a 300 because 400 all come in automatic and there is more to do with the swap to a 1JZ.
I was just about to give up, when I ran across this red one. I did not really want red, since everyone thought I was coping the Ueno drift car. That is one of the reasons it does not have a T&E body kit on it.
This first picture is at D1, the car had just gotten out of the body shop for the Auto Colture body kit. We barrowed these volk wheels just for this show. It took 4 months to get my volks that you will see in the next pictures, because of a custom offset.

In these pictures you can see the car at it near finish:
Here is what was added:
CF hood and trunk lid, Auto Colture body kit, Gram Light wheels, Greddy Exhaust, Kei-office Coilovers.
I never got to put the 1JZ in the vehicle, I still have the 1JZ engine and front clip at home. (I should probably sell it).
You may see the vehicle around sometime or at a show, It was sold to someone at HKS.
