This Big Block Nova has been a labor of love for my son and I. The pics have been updated so please take a look. We need some car enthusiasts to take a minute and rate the ride.
Best time is an 11.96 @ 115 in the 1/4 mile at National Trails. Dyno at 462 lbs ft torque and 473 hp. So losing time at track with suspension, not horsepower.
8 point roll cage and 5 point harnesses aren't needed yet with current times, but we are ready when we get there!
All the badges to honor the great Don Yenko, a leader in the development of true muscle...forget the creature comforts, its all about performance.
We have a 10 bolt rear end, but its built to 12 bolt specs with 30 spline Superior axles, and Richmond 4.10 gears. Big problem is traction still, but it hasn't broken yet so not unhappy with upgrading the 10 bolt.
Aluminum heads and water pump, Air Gap RPM manifold, Griffin 1.25" radiator, and trunk mounted Optima battery.
The red Civic is my sons. He did a swap with a B18A and has since ran a flat 15.0 at National Trails, Runs with the Integras quite well now!
Just got a fiberglass 4" cowl hood to accomodate the Air Gap manifold.
JE 11.0:1 forged aluminum pistons, eagle 4340 crank, H Beam Eagle rods, custom ground cam, Harland Sharp roller rockers, 7 quart Moroso pan, engine balanced and blueprinted. This is older engine bay with original SS hood and no MSD or Vacuum cannister.
Burn Out with BF Goodrich Radial TA's
