Basic Intro Stuff

I bought the car on 5/19/02 as a project car. The owner had the car since 1987. It is a 'project' daily driver. At this time I'm just going through it to be sure it is safe to drive. Most of the paint is ok but the roof is bad (sun bleached/pealing).
The engine/compartment was pretty bad, oil and grease everywhere. Three hours of cleaning and some paint striper, primer and correct engine paint has taken care of most of that problem.
The front bushings (cracked) and grease fittings (no grease) were in really bad condition and have been replaced. The brake pedel went to the floor (bled and adjusted and is ok).
I've rebuilt the long console. Looks real good now!! I've decided to not use the long console after replacing the carpet and new seats.
I'm accumulating 'small' parts to replace all the stuff that the car needs. At this time I'm not concerned about authenticity, just safety and reliability. This part is complete as of 5/19/03...
Got the car painted a silver Metalic which looks more like a nice Grey. Looks good!!
I replaced the seats with ones from a 1995 Mustang. Easy replacement. I also replaced the carpet.
