1964 Datsun Fairlady Roadster - 30K Orig Mile Car
Hi Folks, this is my very original 3 seater Fairlady 1500 Roadster. Unlike the later Datsun roadsters (65-70), this model had 3 seats, external trunk hinges/handles, door lock covers, a body color painted dash, positive ground electrical system, drum brakes all around and a non syncromesh 1st gear.
This is an original San Francisco Bay Area Car. The original owner of this car purchased the vehicle new in 1964 in the San Francisco Pennisula. He owned this car (his baby) until 1989 when he sold the car after the 1989 San Francisco Earthquake.
Note the original FAIRLADY badges this early datsun model carries.
The car has new Firestone 5.60 wide white wall tires which were the original stock tire size for this car. Also, check out the original wheel covers. Very rare find...
Mostly original Paint and zero rust on this beauty. The early 1500 roadsters had a 1-piece datsun emblem on the front of the hood. Later models had seperate D-A-T-S-U-N laterres
