Cool car man. Not that i'm biased or anything to 78 cougars...Anyway, summit was correct in saying that they don't have headers that would fit your car. No one makes them that fit, not even shorty's will fit. The exhaust side is just too close to the inner fender on these cars. Just out of curiosity, where'd you get those dyno numbers? Is that the original motor in the car? Keep up the good work, check out my page if you want. Later man, Clint

Sorry, dont keep up with fords alot...dont know anybody that makes them. The 302 headers wont restrict the 351, its the size of the tubes that matters. Just find some headers off a 302 that has the tube sizes you are looking for.

Nice Cougar. My neighbor across the street had a dark green one when I was a kid. Boy your cars bring memories for me! Somebody's been hating on it though. I rated you up to 4 stars, and while I was reading it went down to 3. F--- HATERS!

Where I live its suppost to be haunted anyway. Alot of people have seen stuff around far as SEEING something the truck is the only thing I have seen. I have been on the dirt road across from my house one night (very long dirt road)and had some weird shit happen to me. I pulled up to a spot and stopped. Put my E-brake down on my ranger and got out to take a leak. All of a sudden my toolbox on my truck went crazy. Sounded exactly like somebody rattling the handles on the box. I had been stopped for a while now and I knew it wasnt something rolling around in it...because the truck wasnt moving at all. The dirt road is suppost to be haunted because of a bunch of murders down here. One a long time ago an indian was fooling around with a white woman, her husband found out and killed them both. A guy that used to live down the road was found be-headed in his house. The fact that so many people died in the woods during the war dont help the case either....probably alot of spirits down there. An old slave graveyard is down there also. Over the years ALOT of people have had stuff happen to them...although over the past 10 years it has calmed down. My neighbor has a ghost in her house that lives up stairs. She says you can hear it walking around up stairs and has even walked around her bed before. Im not one to believe heavily in ghosts...but the facts are there.
