Page (5) Suspension Parts and Misc.
Now that I finally have all the missing pieces, I decided to take some pictures of everything outside the boxes before installing them. This is actually the first time I've ever taken a fairly new, bone stock car, and modified the heck out of it with brand new parts. Well, this stuff here represents about 80% of the things I'm doing to it.
As mentioned before, the SS hood, the rest of the ground effects, and the 3pc spoiler are at my buddy's shop waiting to be painted.

Here are my Lowering Springs, Adj. Shocks, Strut Tower Brace, and a Flowmaster Muffler which is installed already.

Intake parts. All of these are actually installed already. First is the Airfoil, a Polished Aluminum Intake Elbow, which isn't for much more than looks. No real HP gains to speak of anyway. And last but certainly not least, is your basic Polished Cold Air Intake. This on the other hand is worth a few HP. Again, nothing to notice by itself, but with the other few mods I've done, there's enough of a difference that's definitely worth doing.

This shows the adjustment knob on the shocks, which is much easier to change than some of the others I've seen. Some of them only have a small hole with a thin slot for a screwdriver to go in and turn. These, as you can see, are much easier to work with and much cheaper Too! All four were shipped to my front door for $305.00 Not bad for a fully adjustable gas shock/strut combo!

Even though I'm an earnest fan of the 160 degree thermostat, I still have to run the 185 in the winter time. While it's not as cold as the middle eastern states, it is 28 degrees tonight! This 160 will go in as soon as the weather get's warmer.

I needed to take the rear GFX with me to the Muffler Shop, so that I could get my tail pipes installed properly. Now that the exhaust is done, it and the other pieces will be getting painted in the next few weeks.

I'm not going with that much horse power in this car, so I feel as though these round tube connectors will do just fine with the other suspension parts I have.

Ok, it's now official. I just got off the phone with my buddy Jeff, who works for "Cobb Web Specialties" in Edgewood Wa., and they're doing my car on Friday. (12-23-05) He said they should have it done on Saturday about noon. They will be removing my old shocks and struts, the stock springs, the OEM lower control arms and the stock panhard bar. They will be installing all the suspension parts you seen above, and replacing all the old rubber bushings with new Energy/Suspension Polyurethane Bushings.
I'll post new pictures of it Saturday the 24th!
