The story so far...
This is my 740i which I bought in April 2003, the car was in pretty good shape with a full dealer service history. The car was everything I expected and more, though in the early days of ownership, I encountered just about every problem the V8's commonly have. The first day was great, drove 250 miles home from London without a problem, next day, steam everywhere, the radiator had cracked, fitted a new rad then the thermostat went too...! Next week I heard a rattle, both cats replaced (ouch, that was expensive..!). It ran pretty good from then on, I sorted out the usual niggles, gurgling air con pipes, leaking power steering hoses etc and everything was fine.
One day a friend picked up a 2001 750i in silver, it looked great and made my 96' look old :-( so I decided to make mine look as good....
Fontunately, the Orient blue bodywork is exceptional, not a scratch, dent or chip anywhere, absolutely as new. Both bumpers and the sill / rocker panels were refinished for the 2001 look.
My car from new had a 4:3 tv without nav, comfort seats and style 32 18" alloys which are the sport fitment in the UK.

This has taken around 18 months on and off, all work has been completed by myself at my garage, I have many more pictures to upload as these here are quite old.
