Update 8-20-09 Got the car dynotuned about 2weeks ago. she put down 203whp at 12psi on a very very safe tune just to get the motor broke in. Sense then i have put over 1000miles on her so i can go back and turn up the boost and lean it out more. Try'n to pick up a meth kit before i do tho. I also added the BMW headlights and The EVO3 front bumper. Here are some pic's..........

I know its been a min. I had some bs going on for the last 2 months but im back on it. THE CAR IS NOW RUNNING!!! I tuned it ok for now its def running rich tho. im going to mess around with it more this weekend. Yesterday i put 40miles on her and it seems to be running great besides running rich!!! Here are some pics.Going with the sleeper look right now!

Got some stuff done on the car this weekend mounted the intercooler, moved the rad because the turbo hit it, mouted the bumper but will have to come off again because i still need to find pipe to build my down pipe.........the downpipe and turbo inlet flange are all i need to start her up. The flange should be here tomorrow and hopefuly i can get the pipe for the downpipe or take it somewhere to get built. Without costing me an arm and a leg. Here are a few pic's
UPDATE 5-6-09 My B-day
Got my oil feed line and fitting for the block yesterday. The fitting u need for the block is 10mm x 1.5 pitch to -4AN or -3AN. The oil line is all hooked up and fluids are filled. Im trying to figure out how to run my external wastegate i dont really want to try and weld on the mani anymore. Its not the best one. Im thinking about running the gate off the downpipe flange (where the hole is on the turbo itself) here are some pics of me holding the gate flange where im thinking about putting it.

I got a ton of work done this weekend fri night i was out working on her till 3:30am. well in the pic's you will see the motor ready to be mated to the tranny, my short shifter installed, my walbro 255 fuel pump ready to go in, the car got alil sanding done to her and lastly the motor is sitting right in her home. its not running yet i still have to do i shit load of work but im def getting there now.

I got alot of work done on the car/motor today mounted the turbo as u can see in the pic's below. i just need to fig out what i need for my oil inlet for the turbo. i also got in my new wideband. its an AEM unit, i have heard good things about them so im going to put it to test. Next up i have to remount the wastegate flange to the mani and build my down pipe.

Within the last week i got in my new stage 3 kyclutch kit. Looks sweet! i will see what it can hold soon im hoping.
I also got my civic Rad mounted this was my 2nd time tryin to weld and it turned out ok. As long as it holds.

Got the block together!
Here is a lil write up of how i did it.
I started out with a fresh bp block. I got it bored .40 over witch turned the 1.8 into a 1.9.
First i placed the arp main studs into the block only hand tight at this time. Make sure u use the molly lube that came with them.
Next I clean all mains with brake clean and a lint free rag to remove oils left over from machining. Now install the main bearings. Make sure you place the bearings in right. There is a grove that lines them up. Do not apply any lube to the bearings at this time.
Now i took a small peice of green plasti-gauge and lay a peice on each main bearing. Now Install the crank CARFULLY onto the bearings.
Now i installed the bearings into the main caps and install. Be aware that the main caps must go back on the way they came off. Now i torqued all mains down in 20lbs incriments to a spec of 60lbs. For you all that are using stock bolts 40-43 lbs is what u should torque them too. The caps must be tourqe in this order #3,#2,#4,#1,#5. DO NOT spin the crackshaft. I then removed all main caps in the oppisite order as i tighten them down. Remove all the main caps. Once all caps are removed you will see the plasti-gauge has widend. Using the cover of the plasti-gauge measure the width of the plastic. Make sure to use the inch side of the ruler!! When measured you should have a reading of .0015. If its outta spec's u need to buy th right bearings.
Now that u checked the bearings u can lube them up and put it back together the way u did the first time. Before installing #4 main cap you will need to install the thrust washers. They stop the side to side movement in your crank.
Once its all torque down, its now time to check the ring gaps. Make sure u keep all pistons and rings together and mark them to a certain cylinder. I installed the rings with the marked side up. Using the pistion turn it upside down and push the ring into the bore.
Once I installed the ring into bore i used a feeler gauges to measure the end gaps. Since i am running a boosted engine my gaps need to be larger. normally .024-.028 top ring and .025-.029 second ring. To find out what you'll need you take .006xyour bore diameter. So mine is .006x3.2=.019 top ring To find second ring take .0063xbore diameter.

Once i got my rings gap'd to what i needed i mounted my pistons to the gtr rods. I then placed the rings onto the pistons. Be sure to put ur ring gaps in the right place. I then used a piston ring compressor to slide the pistons in the block. Make sure u use a lil oil on the cyl walls to help slide them in. Once all the rods are in the block u need to use the plactic gauge to check the rod bearings. The rod bearings are just like the main on the way the slide on.
If everything checks out with the plastic gauge u can now lube up the rod bearings and put them on. I cant remember what i torqued them down to now. Sorry!
AND This is what i ended up with. Next up is how i mounted the head to the block!!!

Today i got my evo bumper mounted with the e36 headlights. i love the look of it! Also took some pic's of the late model gt side skirts i pick up from a member on FEOA.Net and some pic's of the civic rad im going to be using. its a stock unit but if it dosent work i will upgrade it and stick this one in the 323. I also painted some things under the hood and swap'd in the gt engine wiring harness. Here are the pic's

Got the block back form the shop today. 40 over and new frezze plugs than paint. im waiting on my main and rod bearings to come in so i can put her together!!!

Got alot of work done today i decided to put my stock bp block together with new seals and all my gtx goodies so i can get the car going while the motor is at the m-shop. Here is the pic's of the motor
