I originally got this car in May of '04 from some old lady with 25,000 miles on it. It had been sitting for a while so it was musty and the paint was a bit faded but all it needed was some cleaning. Of course the old lady knew her shit and drove stick. As of Dec 05, after 3 trips to canada and colleges all over the place, I have about 57,000 miles on it.
The car cost me $2,250. Since it had been sitting I had to put about $800 into it to get it into good working shape, but I didn't mind because I'd have all new parts on an already low mileage car. Things replaced immediately were tires, battery, belts, fluids, and brake rotors and pads. I wrapped the rims in Yokohamas and Brembo blanks replaced the rusted old rotors. I used stock pads to avoid any squealing on the brakes.

Next to go on the car was 5% tint. It's BLACK, this is the lowest you can get and it is hard to see out of at night. I don't mind it and the only time it bothers me really is if I'm backing up into a real dark area to dump a body or something.
After tints came KYB AGX adjustable shocks and H&R 1" springs. I didn't want a slammed ride on stock rims because I always thought cars looked broken like that. I got the shocks and springs first so I could put rims on without worrying about nasty wheel gap. There are before and after pictures below. Also, Megan front and rear strut bars were installed at this time. The ride difference was amazing, the car did not roll at all in turns. I never expected so much from $50 strut bars. I also spraypainted the front grill black and put in clear turn signal lenses with an orange bulb. Oh yeah, some asshole backed into me and took off so I have a dent at this point, the body shop wanted $500 but I banged it out pretty good myself.

The next addition was a Pioneer P5700 In-Dash DVD unit. A lot of people think these are unnecessary, which there is no argument there, they totally are. However, I love mine, even more so then I thought I would. I have my iPod video hooked into it, so I can view videos and photos from my iPod on the TV. That means any video, pictures, WMV's, MPG's, JPG's, etc. I also have PS2 hooked up to it with wireless RF controllers. I'm currently working on hooking up my laptop to it and integrating wireless internet through Verizon's new wireless broadband service. The DVD quality from the player is excellent and it sounds great with 2 10" PPI subs in the hatch. New Pioneer speakers are on the way.

After averaging 85 or 90 on the highways I noticed that you can almost not hear the stock horn at all on the 240. My solution? Truck air horns. Again, completely unnecessary, but fun. These aren't annoying plastic horns. These are legit truck horns with a compressor, air tank, and 2 steel horns. I have it wired to a switch under my steering wheel so I can switch between the stock horn and the air horns. These things are freaking loud and I have them hooked up to my car alarm remote so I can honk them from anywhere. A lot of fun when friends are close by. Added weight approx 20 pounds total, not really too concerned.
My most recent addition were 17x9 +35 Sportmax rims. They have a real nice lip and they are relatively inexpensive. I wrapped them in Yokahama AVS ES100 235 45's. Front rims required a 5mm spacer to not rub against the shocks. After putting the tires together with the suspension mods the car grips the road like no other. I can take tight highway turns at 90+ with no issues at all. Not too willing to take it much further than that. On the stock rims the tires would be screeching and you could feel the car struggling. Now the car shows no signs of giving in during tight turns.
