This is my 2001 XJ. I haven't done much to it yet but my wish list is a mile long. I added a 1" shackle and spacer kit to clear the 30" BFG A/T tires since they tended to rub a lot. I also built up my own rock sliders (not pictured). This is my second XJ and since the first one got a lot of rocker damage, I decided to do those right off the bat. This winter I plan on getting bumpers, JKS disconnects, roof rack, and some engine work (intake and exhaust) taken care of. Once the BFG's wear down, it's getting a 5.5" Rubicon Express long arm kit and 33" mudterrains. I usually go wheeling up around Boulder or near Georgetown.
This picture was taken going up the last part of Radical Hill in september. Made me wish I had a locker.
This was at the bottom of Radical Hill on the same day.
I am always looking for people to wheel with, so send me an email at freeskikid@hotmail.com. The crew I usually go with are my friends Josh (2000 XJ), Brian (2001 WJ), and Henry (1999 XJ on 37's).
ITS BEEN AWHILE, AND IT'S GOTTEN SOME WORK DONE TO IT...
As it sits now... 33" BFG muds, 5.5" RubiconExpress lift, Dana44 rear axle, High-pinion Dana30 front, Iron Scorpion front winch bumper, custom rear bumper and tire carrier, custom rock sliders, banks header, RockHard4x4 sport cage.
