this is my 1976 mercury cougar with matching numbers 400 c6 trans. I had the wrong motor on here due to missinformation. Corrected after my own research it is a 400 not a 351m. I paid $600.00 for it and drove it home belive it or not.pretty much in the shape its in had to change the timing chain and water pump 3 months after i bought it. I think it was worth it. It was restored once before but the last person put a crappy paint job on it with clear coat now its coming off. the good thing is that the half top was pulled off and painted white. plans are for to upgrade the 400 manual trans. I have also added 2.25inch duals with glasspacks for the old school sound and crome tips pics on page 2. my amp and subs a not in the car yet (need to build custom box for them because I want it to fit right in to the trunk)and my clarion 6x9s just blew so getting new mids soon
