This is one mean machine. The name is Chyna because it is a girl car on steroids. It's first dyno, over 3 years ago, was 265 rear wheel horsepower. It has only gotten better since then.

I have been working on this unsponsored car for about 4 years. It is on its second engine (swapped in a slightly used 1995 motor for $750, shipping included!) The first engine suffered extreme amounts of boost due to what I believe to be a faulty wastegate (the cartech unit that used to be included with the FMII/FMIII kit sometimes would stick closed, allowing the turbo to spin all of its power into the motor, about 23 psi). I now have the 35mm TiAl wastegate installed and all my boost problems are solved! The electronic boost control does exactly what I tell it to do.
POWER
The components of my turbosystem are as follows:
-Garrett T3/T4 hybrid Ball Bearing Turbocharger-oil cooled, air cooled, and water cooled
-FM Racer Front Mount Intercooler
-External 35mm TiAl wastegate, 6.5psi spring
-RC Engineering 550cc fuel injectors
-Flyin Miata turbo exhaust manifold
-Link ECU
-electronic boost control
-MAP sensor (eliminates air flow meter)
-air temperature compensation
-latest software upgrade
-file exchange services
-unlimited adjustment of fuel + timing
-knock sensor
-Mitsubishi blow off valve
-Custom airbox behind headlight w/HUGE k+n filter, sealed to hood when closed
-Cartech boost gauge
-Magnecor wires 8.5mm
Exhaust:
-Flyin Miata 2.5" straight through catback
-I am currently testing a gutted cat converter, it really isn't too loud with the turbo and presilencer, but it is 2 1/4" and the rest of the system is 2.5", so I will have to break down and get a 2.5" hi flo cat.
At the same time I got the turbosystem put in, a stronger clutch was required, not to mention grippier tires...
DRIVETRAIN
-ACT clutch package, stage 3 1/2
-Extreme duty pressure plate
-Organic street disc
-Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel from FM with replaceable friction surface
-Swapped in 1988 RX-7 TII Clutch-type Limited Slip Differential for much improved traction off the line and through corners, not to mention bad weather
SUSPENSION
-Tokico Illumina 5 way gas shocks
-Racing Beat springs

-FM anti-roll bars
--1" (25mm) front
--5/8" (15mm) rear
-FM strut brace
-Canon rear sub brace

-Hard Dog DD roll bar (4 pt)
-Rota Circuit 8 16 X 7.5" rims, silver
-Toyo FZ4 215-40-16 tires
-Porterfield sport brake pads
