SEPT 12/06 UPDATE!!!....
Finally got my fuel pump and installed it to find out that my injectors were spraying fuel all of the time. Got the injectors cleaned in an ultrasonic wash, THANX Patrick (aka Sivgard). This did not solved the problem. Traced the problem back to the fuel distributor. After some WD 40, compressed air and a hammer my dad and I got the fuel distributor pin dislodged. Now i'm getting fuel and spark to the engine but it still wont run, but did back fire once! hehehe, movie of that soon....After this happened my fuel pump stopped working :( because of the crud in the gas tank. Just got a secong pump but havent had time to install it. Does anyone know why my car wont start. Any tips or help would be greatfully appreciated. Drop me a line in my guestbook. I got fuel, spark, air to the engine... but no vrooom. :(

HISTORY

Its a '79 Sebring edition. They only made about 1929 of these after Porsche's win at Sebring. The car does not have the proper stripes down the sides and the "924" decal on the front. The Black wheels with a polished lip was an option available on the Sebring edition. This '79 has an aftermarket spoiler and "Porsche" insert on the back between the tail lights.
Haven't had a chance to detail/clean either car, Canada is cold in the winter!!!

I have fell in love with the plaid interior, I think there is something wrong with me!

I got a yellow '77 Porsche 924 parts car for X-mas. Just started working on it. The car turns over but wont run. I think I have some fuel problems, big surpise!. This summer I will get the '77 running and then put the '77 engine in the '79. After the '79 is on the road I plan on rebiulding the original '79 engine. I want to convert the '79s engine to EFI and DIS. Maybe a belt driven turbocharger too!

After A GOOD Cleaning And A Bit Of Polish!

The only emblem I have on either car!

You can actually see reflections now. Mothers wax does wonders!

Havent cleaned all of the car yet. This is a good comparison to the above pictures.

Just about killed myself getting this shot!

It took me all afternoon to get all the old dog hair out and an entire bottle of febreeze to get the nasty old car smell out!

There is actually a nice interior behind all that dirt.

One day I may convert the exterior of the car to look like a Carrera GT! Soooo hot, want to touch the hiney!!!!!!

My everyday driver. Wagon power Bitches!

My dads project, its a 1975 laguna S-3

Finally got the engine out of the '77

And into the '79
