This is my K5. I got it for FREE YES FREE!!!!!
It ran not veary good but it made it home.
I have no idea what had been done where it had been nothing some guy I dont know just gave her up.
so upon tearing into it to find out what was wrong, found out the cam didnt like the lifters. The cam was round with little to no lobes. The lifters were beat to death. I had to heat the block to get the lifters out. well I got a new little bigger cam,lifter,push rods,timing chain,and a intake manifold.
so I got it runnig,runs good now but I think its going to need a clutch.I plan on a 6"lift,35"tiers,4.11 or 4.56,should be done in a month or so.well let me know what you think any Ideas
(I will be instaling a lift asap got some cash,what brand should I go with and has anyone had prodlems with drive shafts.any impot would be great)
