7MGE to 1JZGTE Conversion

This car is my pride and joy, although it doesn't look like it at the moment. It is currently parked in my back yard eagerly awaitng the arrival of my new IJZGTE (Half Cut) recently purchased from Japan.

The Car cost me AU $5650 last year. I've spent around $2000 since then trying to get the gremlins out, unsucessfully... Gremlins such as constantly overheating, fucked electronics, tempramental gear changes etc. 2 head gaskets blown later, the car is now in the back...

I've decided to replace all front end parts from the trans forward, including the dash, vents etc., to hopefully release these niggly problems I've had. Total cost estimate $3500 For the Half Cut and another $1000 Misc. While I'm at it I'll grab some new rims, sort out the stereo, some interior work, lowering and some attention to tha paint job.

Some mods that will occur with the introduction to the 1J will be;

7MGE 3.0 L NA to 1JZGTE 2.5 Twin Turbo (An increase of at least 150kW, my 7M was a fuckin pig...)
Auto to manual trans conversation
Brake upgrade
Digital Dash
