This is my First Generation Chevrolet Monte Carlo, 1970, the first year of production. In December 2G, I totalled my old car which I also had posted on CarDomain. An '86 Sedan Deville, had the system in it and all that good stuff. I drove my grandma's '93 Escort wagon around for the next month or so, until the 21st of January, 2001. My dad and I had been cruisin' around checkin' out a bunch of rides for sale, we checked out this '83 El Camino that was said to have 10K original miles. We checked it out, but you could tell the odometer had clicked over more than 10K miles. So my dad and I rolled over to South Tacoma Way to a shop called Austin's Pro/Max. They deal in strictly Street Rods and Muscle Cars. We asked the salesman there what he thought about the El, he said no way. I was also interrested in this '65 Impala, but it was a 4 door, so I wasn't looking too much into it. So we looked around the shop, they had some real dope rides there. One that caught my eye however, was this 1970 Monte Carlo, there were two in fact. An SS and the one I later purchased that day for 10 G's. The next page will have the pics.
