The Copperhead was Miata Magazine's EO2K Project Car for two years. During that time and the time I have owned the EO2K many enhancements have been made to this little Mazda roadster. The additions were selected carefully to keep this powerful sports car well balanced and well matched to it's handling.
Oscar Jackson, the guru of small engine performance, requested seat time quite often in the EO2K Project Car and he proclaimed that "This is the sweetest running Miata I have ever driven."

I purchased the EO2K car from the editor of Miata Magazine after the Magazine was done using the car to showcase aftermarket modifications in their publication. The car has 39,6XX miles on it at this time, most of which were put on during local Miata Club events or travelling cross country to California, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Deals Gap, and Washington DC. The Copperhead has attended three national Miata events and won first place in the concourse two of those times. It won it's class in the only autocross it ran, also at a national Miata event. I have only ran the car on a track for ten laps at Gateway International Raceway for a sponsor of our National Mazda Event in St. Louis. This is truely a beautiful car in excellent condition. Needless to say it is powerful and handles like it is on rails. I hate to sell it but I have another Miata (92 Sunburst...my first love) and have another project that requires the sale of the Copperhead-EO2K Project Car. You may call me at 314-968-2002 if you have any questions or email me at mickkeenoy@msn.com
The Copperhead was sold to a fellow from Chicago in Nov. '06.

The Evolution Orange color is very rare with only 646 units produced only in the year 2000. It came from the factory with the optional Factory Body Kit and Front Air Dam. The Racing Beat Type II Rear Wing and Three Piece Deck Cover are painted to match the Copperhead paint scheme complete with racing stripe.

A matching Hardtop from Mazda comes with it's Storage Cart and Protective Cover.

The radiator is protected by the Buck Reddington Vintage Stainless Mesh Grill. This is the nicest grill made for the Miata. The Brainstorm Products Classic Chrome Fuel Filler Cap adds a bit of bling to the EO2K.

Hi Mick, We met in St. Louis last year, I have the EO with the ghost flames. What project do you have to replace this beautiful car? I wish I could afford the car but I just bought a 2001 for a project. Do you have any parts etc that you will be selling as well? johnwarren@classicnetnet
