For a 17 year old I think that I did pretty good with little to no help in buying everything.
This is the final product after I finished it, but there is always more stuff to add, as every serious car owner knows...lol
It is a 1988 FORD MUSTANG GT. with a very nice rebuilt 5.0 liter engine (if i do say so myself). It is a 5 speed manual transmission, complete with headers, H pipes, flowmasters, K&N air filter, Ingen air intake,American Racing rims, full window tints, vent shades, and the all important blackouts over the lights.
This is what the car looked like when I bought it from some hobo in Iowa. It looked like a piece of crap, so I decided to fix it up a little, then add a little more, and a little more, until I was so deep in it I couldn't leave it alone and it became my hobby for 3 years.
Before anything else I got a new paint job and then the next day I went out and bought the rims, it made it look cool than it really was at the time..lol
These are the new pony seats that I put in to replace the old stock seats it came with.
I also put in new bad ass racing disk brakes.
After about 2 months of saving i could finally buy my nice carbon fiber hood I was waiting to get since the beginning.
My Spider exaust system cost me a few more pennies than the other exaust systems out there, but believe me, its worth it and you can hear and see the difference everytime your drive it.
My new white backed gauges with the carbon fiber back.
Just a pic of my engine, thats what everyone is really interested in anyway...it has ingen intake, color coded wiring, that boys is what wins shows, being neat and looking great...that dented the money book for a while
