This was the sales pix from autotrader before I bought the car.

I had this car for three years believe it or not and did nothing with it. This wasn't because I didn't care but because I was unemployed and broke. This car is my daily driver and got really really beat up. Once everything in regular life was good again, the Z just had to take a backseat to the F-body. I know that Z fans will be pissed but hey, the F-body is a V8 number one and number two, it's a classic.......period, end of story.
I know some will say, "well the Z is a classic also!" Well, it will be when it turns 20 years old. It's claim to fame, at least for my Z is that it's an '89 and it is my understanding that there were less then 4400 of these made total; turbos and n/a's. This car had seen so many better days that I honestly considered buying another one and parting this one out to make a better Z.
For some "God knows why" reason, the Z gods spoke to me one night and told me to save him. So I did. After fixing the driveshaft, replacing the front control arm that was bent, popping in a greaseable ball joint for the control arm, fixing the rack and pinion, replacing the brake calipers, putting in two brand new rotors, changing out all the bad sensors, throwing in a new but high flow cat', and sanding priming and undercoating one extremely rusty car and underbody, I bring you.....Zed!

Front nose view with a fresh paint job.
Three quarter view to the right.
After I had the sucker aligned, it runs like a dream! I plan on polishing the rims, adding a catback and possibly putting the headlight covers on the nose, next.
