It is a allroad "thing" It's not a turbo lag though. Since there are two small turbo's it is supposed to do away with lag. I do have the same problem with our wagon and it's just something I've learned to drive with. It apparently keeps you from wanting to punch it and take off off the line.

Anyhow, I'm sure you are familiar with www.audiworld.com check out the allroad section of the forum, the guys there can explain it in greater detail.

We'll be selling ours in a few months just because it's too much car for hauling my two litle ones.

Do you have turbo lag when you start from a stop?? Like 1st to 2nd gear? My mom has the same car, but I wanted to know if you have the same problem?
