This is my 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda.
It was purchased by my father, Phil Cook of C&C Performance, in 1972 and he has had it ever since. It was an original 340 shaker car but had a 360 put in it's place. We pulled it out of storage in mid 2000 and have been restoring it ever since. I've been driving it almost everyday for about the last year and have raced it a few times. We just built a new motor and dynoed it. It made 420 horsepower and 428 ft. lbs. of torque. The new motor has been bored over .040", has Eagle "I" beam rods, TRW forged pistons, a Comp 224/230 .470/.480 lift cam, ported 340 heads, windage tray, Hookers 1 3/4" headers, 2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, a Speed Demon 650, MSD ignition box, and Taylor plug wires. I took it to the track and ran a 13.35 @102mph with the tires spinning at take off. We are gonna do a couple of things to it to try to get it to hook better. Check back for updates.
It was repainted it's original TorRed color in August of '01 by B&D Customizing.
These are pics of the shaker hood. I love these hoods!!
The AAR spoiler isn't stock but it looks good anyways.
