What up man? thnx 4 the comments. Painting the valve cover is pretty easy. For mine, I used Dupli-Color's "Ford Dark Blue" engine enamel. You can buy Dupli-Color's engine enamels in the automotive section of Wal Mart, where the auto paints are. The paint is designed to last in 500-degree plus situations, and if your valve cover gets that hot, you might have some engine problems. Painting it's pretty easy... I have the same engine (from the looks of it, yours is a SOHC D16Z6 VTEC like mine), and all I had to do was take of the valve cover (there's 5 or 6 bolts holding it down), spray it with engine-grade degreaser (also to be found in Wal Mart, just make sure it's safe for engines), and painted the bad boy. Oh, yeah... you have to disconnect the air sensor and spark wire harnesses too. Just be sure to put the spark plug wires back in the right spots when you put everything back.
